Why are UTI PAN Card Photo Guidelines So Strict?
Applying for a new PAN card or making corrections through the UTIITSL (UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Limited) portal is a daily task for CSC VLEs. However, the UTI portal has one of the strictest image upload validation systems in India.
If the applicant's photograph is not precisely 213 x 213 pixels, or if it is not scanned at exactly 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch), the portal will immediately throw an error and block the form submission. Furthermore, the file size must be strictly under 30 KB. Achieving all three of these parameters simultaneously using traditional software like MS Paint or Photoshop is highly time-consuming.
The "1-Click" Solution by Smart CSC Tool
Our specialized UTI Photo Resizer eliminates all manual editing. When you upload a standard photo, our tool automatically activates a 1:1 aspect ratio cropper. Once you frame the face and hit download, our algorithm does three things instantly:
- It resizes the canvas to a perfect 213x213 px square.
- It mathematically adjusts the JPEG quality to guarantee the output size is less than 30KB.
- It embeds the 300 DPI metadata deep into the image file, so the UTI system reads it as a perfectly scanned document.
100% Privacy Guaranteed: We know you are handling sensitive customer data. All image cropping and compression happens locally inside your browser. No photos are uploaded to or saved on our servers.
