Why is UTI Signature Resizing So Difficult?
Uploading a signature on the UTIITSL PAN Card portal is notoriously frustrating for most applicants and CSC operators. The official guidelines state that the signature must be exactly 400 x 200 pixels, scanned at exactly 600 DPI, and must be under 60 KB in file size.
The biggest problem occurs because most people have long signatures (like a full name). When you try to force a long signature into a small 400x200 box using normal cropping tools, the text gets cut off from the sides, or it becomes stretched and unreadable.
The "Auto-Fit Magic" Solution
Our Smart CSC Tool completely solves the cutting issue with its Auto-Fit algorithm. Here is how it works:
- You upload your long signature and crop it freely (in any rectangular shape).
- When you hit download, our system creates a blank 400x200 pixel white canvas.
- It mathematically shrinks your long signature and places it directly in the center of the canvas. No text is cut, and no text is stretched!
Auto-Enhance (Make B&W) Feature
Often, signatures clicked via mobile phones have a dark, grey, or yellowish paper background. The UTI portal prefers clean, black-and-white scans. If you keep the "Auto-Enhance" box checked, our tool acts like a digital scanner. It automatically removes the dark background shadows, converts the image to grayscale, and boosts the contrast so the ink looks pitch black and highly professional.
100% Privacy Guaranteed: We know signatures are highly sensitive data. All image cropping and Auto-Fit processes happen locally inside your computer or mobile browser. No signatures are uploaded to our servers.
